(Dana and Richs new house with Real estate agent.)
RE agent- So what do you think?
Dana- Well, it seems...Whats the word im looking for?
a fixer-uper.
RE agent- but besides that do you like it? I think its listed at a fair price.
Dana- Its not the price its..(interrupted by Rich)
Rich- Ohh i love this place, Dana when can we move in?
(Real estate agent, and Dana exchange glances)
RE agent- Well you dont want to dissappoint him.
Dana- Oh ok well take it.
Rich- Thanks honey your the best.
(2 Weeks later. Moving in day)
(JT and Sam are taking the house tour)
JT- I like this place, but it reminds me too much of the geezers house.
Sam- Dont listen to him Dana i love the house.
Dana- Yeah but we got some cleaning we have to do before we get this place on its feet.
Rich- JT, Sam you guys want anything, the fridge is in the kitchen, finally help yourselves.
(Doorbell rings)
(enter Carol and Frank Lambert)
Dana- Mom, Frank hi
Rich- Hi Mr and Mrs. L
Carol- Ohh my god Dana Rich this place is beautiful.
Frank- Yeah you two need any help fixing it up just call me.
Dana- You got it. Here ill give you two a tour.
(Doorbell Rings again.)
Todd- Hi im Todd your neighbor.
Rich- Hi Todd im Rich Halke, i just moved in with my wife Dana.
Todd- You two newlyweds?
Rich- No weve been married for 5 years now, weve been appartment hopping.
Todd- is that your wife?
(enter again Dana Carol and Frank)
Rich- Dana meet Todd, our neighbor
Dana- Hi nice to meet you.
Todd- Same here. I also wanted to let you know, theres a man on your roof.
Rich- Yeah were getting Satellite TV installed.
(a loud crash outside, everyonr rushes out back)
Cody- Dude, that jump diddnt look so bad from up there,
Frank- Cody what are you doing?
Dana- Cody was installing satellite TV for us, but before he almost fried his brain, trying to install our Washer machine.
Rich- Todd this is.. (interrupted by Todd)
Todd- Codeman, hey
Cody- Dudesey
Dana- You two know eachother?
Cody- Yeah buddy, Hows Francine doing?
Todd- GReat shes in the garage now, i washed her last night.
(Rich and Dana look at eachother puzzled)
Cody- dont worry Halkster and Danaburger, hes talking about his van, we bought identical vans a few years ago, and paint sprayed them together.
Dana- (sarcastically) Well what are friends for?
Todd- Well if you guys need me ill be next door.
Dana- Great.
Rich- Later
(Cody and Todd do Codys infamous handshake)
(Later that night, in kitchen)
(Dana and rich hear guitar playing in the backyard)
(Cody is playing his blues riff on a loungechair.)
Cody- I got the blues, i got the blues, i got the i havent seen this dude in years, we painted our vans cool colors now he painted back the way it was blues. i got the blues i got the blues.
Rich- Whats wrong Codeman?
Dana- I think he just told us.
Cody- well before i saw todd leaving, in the vans we painted and named, but it was the same color he bought it in. (sighs) Dude.
Dana- Well maybe he diddnt want a funky colored van.
Rich- Yeah its nothing to get upset about.
(The next day)
(Cody goes to Todds house)
Todd- Hey Cody come in.
Cody- hey dude. I saw Francene yesterday, she wasnt painted.
Todd- Oh yeah, i forgot to tell you, when you bought your van, i leased one, and i wanted to trade it in when the time comes, so i got it painted its origional color.
Cody- Ohh, well if i knew it was leased and you wanted to trade it in.
Todd- Sorry Codeman, it was a cool idea at the time, but i was in financial debt those years, and i wanted to downsize.
Cody- Ohh its cool.
Todd- We still buds?
Cody- Yeah, ahh tender moment.
(At Rich and Danas house)
Chad- Wow this place is huge.
Dana- You like it , Mr. Darrens?
Chad- Yeah it seems cozy.
Dana- Yeah this house is the beginnig of a crazy life.
Rich- Yeah i can see it already, our new crazy lifestyles.
